YOUR FULLEST POTENTIAL
"Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:2

“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

- Psalm 37:4 -

Some people delight in sports, worldly pleasure or entertainment, Christians need to delight in the Lord above all. The Bible says to delight in the Lord, enjoy with great pleasure serving God. Do not complain but be content. Deaf people delight in and love fellowships. We should also delight in and enjoy doing the things of God.

Do you enjoy going to church? Do you delight in reading your Bible? Do you delight in praying? Delight yourself in the Lord. What happens when we look at God and not our own problems? Everything looks different, and even better than that, God promises that if you delight in Him that He will give you the desires of your heart.

What do you desire?

You will have it, if you will delight in the Lord.

God wants you to be a happy and contented Christian. He promises you good things, if you will serve Him with a good attitude. Warning! Do not delight yourself more in the things of the world than in the Lord. This will not bring good but it will bring bad. What makes you happy? What do you talk about? What do you love doing most? Do you love the things of God?

I am Deaf. Sometimes I get lonely and bored, but I am never bored or tired of serving God. I delight in going to

church. Sometimes there will be problems and troubles but they will not steal my joy in the Lord. I want to encourage Deaf Christians to enjoy and delight themselves in the Lord. Learn to be as contented as the apostle Paul: “I have learned to be contented.” (Phil 4:11). You must daily learn to be content. It is natural to complain but you must practice being content.

Every day you need to decide to delight yourself in the Lord. Be a happy and contented Christian. Do not gripe or complain. The best life is serving God! I am Deaf and I have learnt to delight myself in the Lord and be contented as a Christian. I am Deaf, if I can, so can you.

Delight yourself in the Lord – go on, do it!
